Bonifacio - Santa Teresa: the only multi-daily link between the twin islands

Bonifacio's commercial port is a key asset for the local economy and trade with Sardinia.

Every year, almost 250,000 passengers, more than 3,400 ship rotations and more than 80,000 tonnes of goods pass through Bonifacio's commercial port.

Corsica's second busiest port for cruises, with 57 ships calling in 2023, representing more than 8,000 passengers.

Considered to be one of the most beautiful ports in the Mediterranean, Bonifacio's Port de Commerce has benefited from the refurbishment of its second berth, which will come into service in July 2022, enabling it to accommodate ferries and cruise boats to a high standard of safety and comfort.

Discover Bonifacio

Bonifacio, with its rich culture and history dating back to the 9th century, is built on a natural site. This ancient fortress dominates the sea from its limestone promontory.

The town of Bonifacio is divided between the lower town and the upper town, allowing visitors to explore the bustling port, typical and modern shops, welcoming restaurants, the medieval citadel, the legendary King of Aragon's Staircase and the Bastion of the Standard built by the Genoese in the 18th century.

Today, it is one of the most spectacular towns in Corsica, offering breathtaking views over Sardinia and the Lavezzi archipelago.
