The Corsican EPCI manages the concession for the Port of Bonifacio.
The concessionaire is responsible for managing public property within the concession area. Its responsibilities are as follows: the construction, maintenance, renewal, operation, development and promotion of the structures, land, buildings, facilities, equipment, networks and services necessary for the port’s operation.

The Corsican Public Agency for Trade and Industry is constantly working to improve facilities for passengers and vehicles. To this end, it organises the management of traffic flows for both vehicles and pedestrians. To this end, it is putting in place services, infrastructure and facilities such as: ferry terminals, car parks, a free shuttle bus, an information point, and variable-message signage systems….
To promote the growth of traffic
To promote the growth of traffic by meeting the expectations of all operators, particularly shipping lines.
To this end, it carries out promotional and communication activities in partnership with all shipping lines, stakeholders in the port community, and professionals in the transport and island tourism sectors.
With an advantageous geographical location, notably due to its proximity to the Italian ports of the Gulf of Genoa and Sardinia, the island’s six commercial ports are served by five regular ferry operators and 12 routes to France and Italy, handling over 4 million passengers and 3.7 million tonnes of freight each year.
